The Yoga Barn Bali attracts yoga and wellbeing practitioners from the world over, be it beginners to certified instructors who feature regularly as guest teachers through its scheduled class programmes.

Yoga exercise takes various styles, either modified or simplified, depending on breath synchronization, progressive 'asanas' or postures, the use of different props to help one adjust or support in these different postures, self-realization for self-transformation, and personal development. Yoga can be practiced by anyone, regardless of their age or physical condition.

Yoga Barn is part of Bali Spirit, an endeavour founded by Charley Patton, Meghan Pappenheim and Balinese practitioner Kadek Gunarta, who started off conducting yoga classes at their workshop on Jalan Hanoman in Ubud.

The Yoga Barn now has a total of five open-air studios, two of which host daily classes, with a capacity of 80 and 35 students respectively, and with over 100 classes on offer per week. Studios are fully equipped for yoga with blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps and mats. Changing rooms and shower facilities are also onsite, as well as organic food catering from its onsite café, with two garden areas provided for meals, or simply for relaxation. Studios also feature separate bungalows for massage treatments.
