A combination of fine dining and scenic discovery awaits those who sample the delights of Ubud Hanging Gardens restaurants and bars. Our restaurants have spectacular views of the vast valley, temple and gorges over the Ayung River. Each offers different culinary treats from gourmet meals at the Beduur Restaurant to light and healthy snacks at Diatas Pohon Café, each enriched with natural ingredients to help one's well being.

A sunset drink is there for the taking at the resorts open-air Bukit Becik Bar with its breathtaking views and chilled ambience absorbing the peaceful and beautiful sky.

Our Executive Chef

Our French executive chef Renaud Le Rasle has an impressive culinary pedigree. He started with an apprenticeship at the Michelin three-star Restaurant
Pic, and at the prestigious Drome l’Hermitage culinary competition, he was the youngest recipient ever of the first-place trophy. Le Rasle worked for Alain Ducasse
at Louis XV, at Le Mer, Guy Savoy, and Guy Savoy Bistro l’Etoile, where he became chef de cuisine.

In the United States, Chef Le Rasle has assembled
an equally impressive résumé, working at the French Consulate, La Côte Basque, Le Cirque and Gertrude’s. At the Russian Tea Room, he made his name applying his deft touch to the French-Russian cuisine for which
it was famous. Le Rasle was Chef Partner at Rêve in
New York, and was formerly the private chef to Daniel

Renaud Le Rasle decided to move to Bali to study the ingredients and culture of the island. With his knowledge of fine cuisine he has created dishes which are artful masterpieces, visual pleasures preceding oral adulators. Beduur Restaurant

Terraced onto the hillside with outstanding panoramic views of the valley and the scenic backdrop of the temple on the opposite side of the gorge, our Beduur Restaurant features the delights of both Asian and French cuisine with Balinese ingredients in the serene setting of pure tranquility.

Our organic vegetables, fruits and spices are from Bedugul farms, our meat from South East Asia and Australia and our fish comes directly from Jimbaran Bay. Our restaurant offers both outside and inside seating areas on which to enjoy the dishes created
by executive chef.

Les Poissons
• Steamed butter fish wrapped in banana leaf medley or market vegetables with flavoured spicy oil
• Roasted Tasmanian salmon, Thai basil pesto, organic red rice with vegetables and crustacean lemongrass jus.

Les Viandes
• Braised tender beef cheek in Bintang beer, young carrot with fresh heart of palm shiitake tempura

Les Entrées
• Grilled river prawn salad with avocado, cantaloupe, mango, watermelon, yuzu jelly, and crustacean balsamic dressing
• Infused lime leaf with coconut miso soup with shrimps, calamari, salmon Asian mushroom ansd wakame.
• Chillled green pea soup with lemongrass, somen noodle, marinated octopus and Thai basil

Diatas Pohon Café

Our Diatas Pohon Café which looks down over the gorges of the Ayung River, its terrace virtually poised on towering treetops, provides a remarkably restful ambience in which to enjoy the light and healthy
cuisine served here.

A selection of virtuous mocktails including vitality
carrot and ginger juice and corn and yoghurt shake
as well as salads, crab cakes and spring rolls are on offer to promote well being and inner harmony.

to chocolate tart and mango soup.

Les Entrées
• Balinese style soup of baby pork ribs, young papaya Asian mushrooms with glass noodles and spinach
• Crab Duet exotic crab salad in rice, pepper and crispy crab cake with mango papaya chutney and coriander
• Caesar Salad with heart of romaine, herb croutons parmesan shavings and anchovy dressing

• Grilled sour dough bread, Thai basil aioli, tomatoes comfit, portobello mushrooms, buffalo mozzarella, arugula smoked ham.
• Tasmanian salmon tartar on crostini, salad of bibb lettuce and upland cress and curry oil
• Grilled chicken club sandwich, potato chips and salad.

Bukit Becik Bar

The open air Bukit Becik Bar at Ubud Hanging Gardens is located near the main pool and overlooks the valley and river.

Our bar provides a serene setting for relaxation and watching nature at its best with birds, dragonflies and the constantly moving clouds against the blue sky.
Relax and enjoy your drink on our comfortable sofa seating.
