Our French executive chef Renaud Le Rasle has an impressive culinary pedigree. He started with an apprenticeship at the Michelin three-star Restaurant
Pic, and at the prestigious Drome l’Hermitage culinary competition, he was the youngest recipient ever of the first-place trophy. Le Rasle worked for Alain Ducasse
at Louis XV, at Le Mer, Guy Savoy, and Guy Savoy Bistro l’Etoile, where he became chef de cuisine.

In the United States, Chef Le Rasle has assembled
an equally impressive résumé, working at the French Consulate, La Côte Basque, Le Cirque and Gertrude’s. At the Russian Tea Room, he made his name applying his deft touch to the French-Russian cuisine for which
it was famous. Le Rasle was Chef Partner at Rêve in
New York, and was formerly the private chef to Daniel
Wildenstein.

Renaud Le Rasle decided to move to Bali to study the ingredients and culture of the island. With his knowledge of fine cuisine he has created dishes which are artful masterpieces, visual pleasures preceding oral adulators. Terraced onto the hillside with outstanding panoramic views of the valley and the scenic backdrop of the temple on the opposite side of the gorge, our Beduur Restaurant features the delights of both Asian and French cuisine with Balinese ingredients in the serene setting of pure tranquility.

Our organic vegetables, fruits and spices are from Bedugul farms, our meat from South East Asia and Australia and our fish comes directly from Jimbaran Bay. Our restaurant offers both outside and inside seating areas on which to enjoy the dishes created
by executive chef.

Our Diatas Pohon Café which looks down over the gorges of the Ayung River, its terrace virtually poised on towering treetops, provides a remarkably restful ambience in which to enjoy the light and healthy
cuisine served here.

A selection of virtuous mocktails including vitality
carrot and ginger juice and corn and yoghurt shake
as well as salads, crab cakes and spring rolls are on offer to promote well being and inner harmony.

The open air Bukit Becik Bar at Ubud Hanging Gardens is located near the main pool and overlooks the valley and river.
