Best Places to Shop in Uluwatu and Bukit Area

The best shopping in Uluwatu and Bukit doesn’t hit the heights of its famous surf breaks, but there are several specialty stores and shopping complexes in and around its borders. These include the coastal areas of Nusa Dua and Jimbaran, where you can browse through boutiques for some great gift ideas, and perhaps stumble upon a sought item that you’ve long been looking for. The best shopping in Uluwatu and Bukit is often found on the outskirts of this vast and hilly region, but there is more than enough available to satisfy your immediate needs and your desire for designer luxuries in between your wave riding and sunset chill-outs.

This gallery houses a great collection of contemporary art pieces, from colourful Warhol-like paintings and large separate panel sets that can fill up an entire wall, to dreamy 3D installations made of a combination of driftwood, metal and glass. The pieces are the main artworks of resident artists, Naka, Dirga, Gialain and Rizal, Kiyo and Widi. Naka’s works predominantly feature powerful portraits of women using splashes of colours against various media, while Dirga uses a similar technique but with the dominant subject being animals and pets. Gialain and Rizal’s works are abstract and more three-dimensional, and add accent and artistic touches to living spaces. Kiyo and Widi’s works similarly feature female portraits, but each has their distinctive strokes. The Jimbaran gallery complements two others in Ubud and Seminyak.
