10 Best Nightlife in Uluwatu and Bukit Area
Best Places to Go at Night in Uluwatu and Bukit0
The nightlife in Uluwatu and Bukit mostly reflects the luxury of the five-star resorts that line the limestone cliff-fringed coast, with stunning ocean-facing locations to suit. Whilst this vast and sparse southern peninsula might not draw in the same party-crowds akin to Bali’s famous beach resort areas of Kuta and Legian, there are still some exciting venues worth checking out, delivering a more sophisticated bar scene come nightfall.
Go for a cool cocktail on the southern end of Jimbaran Bay, or enjoy one of the most stunning cliff-top bars in the world with the rolling surf crashing at the rock base. There are a few rooftop bars where you can enjoy a bird’s eye-view over the heights of Bali’s southern Bukit peninsula, together with great drinks, settings and music. Some are also surf-themed, overlooking one of Bali’s most famous surf spots. Here are the best places to go at night in Uluwatu and the Bukit area.Read More

One of the mainstays among Jimbaran’s array of places to go at night is right on the Jimbaran Bay itself. Also locally referred to as Pantai Muaya, or Muaya Beach, the bay is home to the longstanding collection of seafood cafes, which all offer a memorable seafood dinner with a gorgeous sunset panorama. Usually gathering crowds right before sunset, the collection of tables are spread out on the sand, and candlelit dinners are great to enjoy as a couple, or shared for a feast with friends under the stars. Faint lights from the Ngurah Rai airport and traditional fishing boat lanterns far out at sea add to the dreamy seascape. ‘Meals on wheels’ and peddlers offer their wares late into the night. Occasional strolling musicians play request songs while some cafes provide live traditional bamboo orchestras. Read More...
