The Astor Ballroom’s 3.5 metre-high ceiling and floor to ceiling windows flood the 290 square metre room with soft, natural light as they reveal the ballroom terrace and tropical gardens beyond. Beautifully carpeted and appointed with wall coverings, richly textured draperies and fine furnishings, the entire space exudes hospitality and comfort.
In addition to a unique reception room that features waterfall buffet stations, an expansive area in front of the ballroom makes a fitting setting for receptions. In the evenings, the option of pre-dinner cocktails on an inviting wood terrace is available.
The Astor Ballroom can comfortably accommodate over one hundred and fifty guests and is the island’s premier venue for meetings, both corporate and social and weddings.
Weddings
With its stunning beachfront location, the Cloud Nine Chapel is more than a venue for weddings. It is also the perfect choice for a variety of social events, including a celebratory lunch of up to twelve guests and an intimate and romantic candlelight dinner for two.
The crystal chandelier hanging from the high ceiling and the magnificent panoramic views of the ocean from the Cloud Nine Chapel conspire to create an enchanting atmosphere that is both sophisticated and intimate.
Designed to accentuate the beauty of the setting, the Cloud Nine Chapel is surrounded by a pond filled with water that overflows and cascades down steps, creating a calming vision and feel. A wood-terraced reception area sits beyond the pond, right at the beachfront, providing guests with an ideal spot for pre-dinner canapés and beverages.
Venues
John Jacob IV - Ideally located at the lobby adjacent to the Business Centre (The Office), the 21 square metre John Jacob IV is designed to be the perfect setting for small, high-level meetings of up to 12 guests. It is fully suited and equipped to handle events that require privacy with the highest level of service and technological support. In addition, this intimate room is ideal for break-out sessions.
Newport - For smaller meetings, functions or break-out sessions, the 14 square metre Newport is located at the lobby next to the Business Centre (The Office) and can seat up to 6 guests.
Amphitheatre - A quaint feature built in the middle of lush green gardens, the Amphitheatre makes an ideal venue for themed corporate dinners and birthday celebrations with a stage to showcase an elegant performance or entertainment.
