A Shopping and Dining Complex in Seminyak
For a convenient stopover while strolling along Seminyak's Jalan Kayu Aya, head into Seminyak Square. Here you'll find a large arcade with two levels lined with shops, restaurants and cafés. At ground level, an open-air art market welcomes you after a large parking space.
Sports and fashion outlets, a batik store and a leading bookshop, as well as a children's, souvenir and jewellery outlets come together to provide a full shopping experience under one roof, while food outlets such as Bali Bakery, Casa Gourmet and others offer a large variety of Eastern and Western cuisine.
Shopping at Seminyak Square
The airy main building actually comprises three levels, but only two of which are currently occupied, as the third is in plans for an upcoming apartment project. The shops and boutiques here are mostly similar to those you would find along the streets of Kuta and Legian, but one worth looking at is Vinoti, which not only sells large furniture but small fine Indonesian made tabletop items that would make great gifts.

Dining at Seminyak Square
Bali Bakery at the easternmost side of the complex serves as a favourite spot for pastries, bread and coffee. It also serves selections of international cuisine and Indonesian selections. Next to the bakery is Periplus Bookstore, which is a good place to source for useful references on Bali, imported books and publications. You can simply buy a good book here and enjoy it with a latte at the bakery next door. On the far west side is Vivai Dine & Lounge, a Mediterranean restaurant boasting an open-sky rooftop garden terrace, from where you can enjoy a different setting altogether.

Good to Know about Seminyak Square
For your convenience, Seminyak Square is equipped with public facilities such as clean toilets, wide and free parking spaces, free Wi-Fi connectivity, public parasol-shaded garden benches and tables, and a 24-hour security system. There is ample parking space, and if you hopped off a taxi to get there, you need not worry about getting out as a dedicated taxi booth is on site.
In October 2012, the opening of Seminyak Square Hotel, located just above arcade offers further convenience with 24 rooms, onsite dining options such as Braga Cafe and Aviary Restaurant and free Wi-Fi connectivity.
