What to Do at Night in Nusa Dua
There is not much to Nusa Dua’s nightlife. Bars and lounges are mostly situated in luxurious resorts and hotels like the King Cole Bar at St. Regis Bali Resort, the Oolooloos Fun Pub at Nikko Bali Resort & Spa, and the Salsa Bar at Grand Hyatt Bali. They feature different entertainment with a great choice of drinks.
Each boasting its own typical theme, range of entertainment and features, most of the restaurants and venues in Nusa Dua present live music, and almost every nightspot closes its doors by 02:00 at the latest.
Cheers
Cheers is a German-owned, Jakarta-based sports bar that has expanded its wings to become one of Bali’s most high-end nightspots. It is now the only place outside hotel complexes in Nusa Dua that is open after midnight. Cheers has two small pool tables, table football, TVs, as well as a PlayStation 2 room behind the mini-stage. It serves both local and international beverages and western food with steaks dominating the German-English-Russian-language menu. Last but not least, Cheers has free Wi-Fi and live music every Tuesday and Thursday.

King Cole Bar
Paying homage to the original bar at the St. Regis New York, the King Cole Bar is said to be the most refined and authentic bar in Bali. The bartenders are happy to advise guests on the recommended cocktail of the day and waiters in tuxedos play an integral part of the warm sophisticated service. Their Bloody Marys are a must-try and you’ll find a full drinks list with snacks such as chick pea falafel and Caesar wraps. The terrace offers garden and ocean views, as well as an illuminated vista of the fire dance ritual on the ground floor every evening. Indoors is decorated with Indonesian handicrafts and art and livened up by live jazz every night. King Cole Bar also features a champagne ‘show’ in which the sommelier opens a bottle of champers with an Indonesian Kris.

Oolooloos
Oolooloos pub in Nikko hotel, although it’s located in the quiet southern part of Nusa Dua, is still a favourite. With live entertainment from the resident band and exotic cocktails, dance the night away or just relax, either in the air-conditioned Mediterranean-style room or on the outdoor terrace. Oolooloos features three private karaoke rooms and a pool table.

Salsa Bar
The rooftop Salsa Bar is the place to be if you want to enjoy cocktails under the starry sky with a panoramic view of neighbouring islands and the ocean. The Salsa Bar can accommodate up to 150 people for parties.
