The Lovina Beach and North Bali region is home to an array of hidden nature attractions, some of which are deep within its mountain forests and down on its quiet coasts. Highlights unique to the area include dolphin-watching tours in the calm seas off Lovina, nature reserves, magnificent temple sites and a collection of fine waterfalls dotting its highlands. The area is less explored compared to Bali’s south, but are worth the day trip from Kuta if you’re up for an adventure to see ‘real Bali’.
Lovina Beach and North Bali also a good selection of hotels, ranging from laidback beach resorts such as the Zen Resort Bali and the Bali Lovina Beach Cottages, as well as luxury stays on the scenic upper hills that include The Damai and the Munduk Moding Plantation. While there are no designer boutiques here, you’ll discover vibrant farmer markets selling fresh local produce and unique handicrafts.
