The Matahari Terbit Bali offers deluxe bungalows, based on the principals of a Balinese village compound and was designed following the sacred Balinese guidelines and the roles of a Balinese home. Twenty spacious deluxe Balinese style bungalows feature thatched roofs, spacious private balconies with tropical garden and ocean views. Facilities include a free-form beachfront swimming pool and a seaside spa with jacuzzi. Marine sport activities abound, ranging from sailing, parasailing, boating, water-skiing, snorkelling, fishing and scuba diving to a nearby island. A well-lit tennis court is also nearby. Galuh Cafe is a beachfront cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving seafood and international specialities.
