    Apache Reggae Bar & Club

    When you’re in Kuta and looking for a spot that’s dedicated to Rastafarian culture, Apache Reggae Bar is the place to go. Centrally located, Apache’s vibe is infused with ‘all positive energy of love and sweet music’, as jammin’ bands provide the live music every night, with a backdrop of the usual Jamaican stripes of red-yellow-green. Gig regulars include the Ghanaian cover band Afro Moses, which performs everything reggae, from Marley to UB40.     CP Lounge is located halfway up from the Jalan Monkey Forest Road, and features a dining and entertainment complex owned and run by a royal Ubud family member, who also occasionally serves as the venue’s fun-spirited host. A small thatched-roof stage with live bands – who play almost anything – separates the spacious garden lounge and its bar that serves a great selection of martinis and cocktails. Its semi-open entertainment hall is reminiscent of a grand Balinese meeting pavilion and houses billiards and a makeshift dance floor. Be it outside under the stars or in a cosy subtly-lit corner, scenes and seating choices abound. You can enjoy good food with its selection of tapas, grilled steaks, mix of Mediterranean, western and local dishes, including pizzas and pastas, then dance away to the tunes provided by the band and live DJs.
