So Spa at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort
Luxury Resort Spa in Nusa Dua0
So Spa is the Sofitel signature wellness facility at Bali’s one and only Sofitel Resort. The spa is tucked away in a secluded corner of the resort grounds, nearby So Fit gym centre, welcoming both staying and outside guests looking for a soothing break. Complemented by sauna rooms and Jacuzzis, the spa has a total of only five treatment rooms. Nevertheless, it offers a sense of grandeur throughout, from a dramatic lounge area with high ceilings, mood lighting, intricately carved wood panels, and an ornamental pool that overflows to the spa’s sunlit exterior.
This calming combination, further added with soft-flowing music and the sweet scents of aromatherapy oils, is extended into each of the treatment rooms, some of which are specially designed for couples. Inside, wicker screen panels envelope the treatment beds as screens, creating a cocooning effect. The high ceilings are darkened and each treatment bed is subtly-lit, allowing for a truly relaxing effect throughout your 45, 90 or 120 minutes of pampering bliss.Read More

The So SPA menu features a range of facial and body treatments. The So Rejuvenating Facial is a refreshing session that uses honey and cucumber, combined with French techniques and renowned Clarins line of products. Some signature body rituals have apparent Balinese influences, such as a 45-minute body scrub that utilises the traditional spicy Balinese blend of ginger, fenugreek and cinnamon called ‘boreh’, priced at IDR 750,000 or around USD 58. A one-hour deep Balinese massage using aromatic herbal oils starts from IDR 950,000 or around USD 72 per person.
Prior to your sessions at So Spa, you can tailor your preferences through consultations with the So SPA Concierge, be it a jasmine scent over lemongrass, medium pressure strokes over hard, or any specific point you wish the kneading to be focused on. As a staying guest at the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, you may also enjoy your pampering session in an open Balinese ‘bale’ gazebo right on the resort’s beachfront, or in the comfort of your own Luxury Room. If you’re staying as a family, they offer spa treatment options for kids as well.
