Royal Kirana Spa & Wellness at the Royal Pita Maha in Bali

Luxury Day Spa and Wellness Centre in Ubud

Royal Kirana Spa & Wellness is a dedicated facility that is set adjacent to the legendary Royal Pita Maha resort in Ubud. The spa and its variety of treatment villas were built following the contours on an eastern side of the Ayung River valley, with some villas featuring treatment tables and private plunge pools that take advantage of the lush open views. The spa grounds are well laid out, with lush tropical gardens, polished cobblestone pathways, soothing water features and sculptures – including a wall motif that resembles Bali’s ancient Gunung Kawi Temple.

Your day here typically starts with a walk through faintly sunlit Zen sand and stone gardens, before arriving at your consultation pavilion where you detail your personal requirements for your treatment. A row of stairs down an alley of stone walls, which are covered in creeper vines and a series of Balinese Kamasan style paintings, leads you down to your villa, where refreshing cup of aromatic Dilmah tea awaits. Most of the nurturing packages available at Royal Kirana Spa & Wellness, particularly the facials, feature products by renowned Japanese beauty care company, Shiseido.

A warm Jacuzzi filled with red hibiscus flowers concludes your rejuvenating experience. The treatment villa is a big part of the experience. It comes complete with your own private pool, hot and cold Jacuzzi, dry and herbal mist sauna, showers and a dedicated relaxation nook. For an ultimate treatment, consider the 330-minute Royal Retreat USD 375 (IDR 5 million) that includes Balinese massage, facials, free use of the in-villa’s facilities, and a light meal at the spa lounge and garden.
