Red Carpet Champagne Bar

Champagne and Cheers in Seminyak

Red Carpet Champagne Bar may be one of the quirkiest spots you’ll encounter on Seminyak’s Jalan Kayu Aya, where a totally unique hangout experience awaits. It features a glamorous but very laidback atmosphere, a wide selection of drinks and delicious snacks to pair, together with wonderful hospitality from cheerful waitresses clad in sexy flight attendant-like costumes. True to its name, the lively spot offers among the most comprehensive champagne selections on the island, from the well-known traditional brands Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon and Veuve Clicquot, to the lighter and fruitier Italian and Spanish prosecco and cava varieties.

Cruising down this main dining street of Seminyak, which is also referred to as ‘Jalan Laksmana’, and sometimes ‘Jalan Oberoi’ after the legendary hotel there, you will easily come across this eye-catcher. Set on the northern side of the street, the venue has lengths of bright-red carpet lining its entrance and red felt queue line dividers ready to welcome you and any other guest as their ‘celebrities’.

Before the two-storey building is a foyer where several bar-style tables offer street views. Despite the glam appeal, the overall ambiance inside is surprisingly relaxed and the friendly ushers make it more welcoming. While the sparkling drink selections are the highlight here, Red Carpet also features a menu with scrumptious choices, from hearty sandwiches and snacks, fresh juices, and coffee and tea selections during the day, to a more luxurious option in the evenings with the likes of shucked oysters, caviar and foie gras. Of course, international beers, soft drinks and sparkling mineral water are also on the list, so everybody can join in on the toasts and celebrations.

Happy hours and theme nights are regular highlights worth looking out for. Between 21:00 and 22:00 the Champagne Bar offers massive discounts of up to IDR 800,000 on bubbly selections purchased by the bottle. Moreover, the wide range of wonderful cocktails also gets its happy hour treatment, with martinis, caipiroskas and mojitos down to IDR 85,000 and 96,000 per glass. A must-try especially during the hour is the venue’s own ‘Red Carpet Fizz’ house champagne cocktail, which is a delightful mix of Grand Marnier, fresh strawberries and pomegranate juice.

In all, Red Carpet provides a great spot for those simply in search for somewhere quirky to celebrate special moments. Champagnes by the bottle come to your table with a big smile from the charming hosts, and party sparklers attached to the bottlenecks are lit at your table to bring on the cheers. Together with exclusive tapas, sushi, amuse-bouche, and groovy beats from the advanced BOSE video and sound systems, a night here can easily be one to remember. Ideal for pre- or post-dinner hangouts or rendezvous while enjoying the night along the island’s top dining street.
