Prana Spa at The Villas in Bali

Indian and Middle Eastern Themed Bali Spa

Prana Spa is Bali’s premier destination spa featuring an overall Indian and Middle-Eastern inspired theme throughout its architecture, interior design and signature spa treatments. The spa is located right next door to The Villas on Seminyak’s side street of Jalan Kunti, and is a great choice if you’re looking for a different kind of spa experience in Bali. The spa is one of the most eye-catching, with its towering arches akin to Mughal palaces visible from street-side.

Step inside, and you’ll instantly be hit by aromas from burning fragrance oils with views across a luxurious spa garden and restaurant setting. Further in, tall hallways and interiors of Prana Spa’s 23 treatment rooms are also intricately detailed with Turkish kilims and wall motifs, silken drapery from the ceilings and floors lined with oriental rugs and Persian carpets. Then there’s the treatments, designed and delivered to make you feel like sultans and queens.

Many treatments at Prana Spa are inspired by ancient Indian Ayurvedic philosophies, emphasising natural healing. Oftentimes, your treatment will include brief and sequential soaks in the spa’s centrepiece hot and cold plunge pools, as well as Turkish hammam-style steam baths. A popular two-hour package, The Ayurvedic Simple Bliss, involves Shirodhara, where heated medicated oil is steady streamed down your forehead, sending you to meditative bliss.

For one closer to the Balinese spa experience, try Mystique of Bali, which features Balinese essential oils in traditional massages, Javanese ‘lulur’ aromatic scrubs and ‘jamu’ herbal drinks. Planning for a soothing treatment to help get you into holiday mood right after you land? Book Prana’s jetlag remedy package ahead. Peppermint-infused footbaths and back, neck, and shoulder massages help you loosen up while a facial helps you start your holiday afresh.
