Mengiat Beach or Pantai Mengiat is the main coastal stretch of Nusa Dua. The scenic white sand beach spans 800 metres south from the Peninsula Island outcrop, and forms most of the beachfronts of the Grand Hyatt Bali, the INAYA Putri Bali and the Ayodya Resort Bali. Nusa Dua’s main walking and shopping street, Jalan Pantai Mengiat, is named after it and connects the beach from the Nusa Dua hub. Many often refer to Mengiat simply as Nusa Dua Beach, being the area’s main beach, or Peninsula Beach, due to its proximity to the landmark “twin island” outcrops.

Features of Mengiat Beach
Mengiat Beach has clean white sand, calm waves, and is most of the time uncrowded. Being the shared beachfront of notable resorts in the area, it’s well maintained. A paved beach path borders the hotel grounds and the sand. Walkers share the path with cyclists. You can enjoy great swimming and even snorkelling near Pantai Mengiat’s coastline. A half kilometre-long reef barrier protects the shore from the rough waves of the open Indian Ocean. Head up to Waterblow on the Peninsula Island’s rocky cliff point to see the amazing forces of nature up close.
