    Acclaimed Designer Jewellery in Seminyak

Jemme Jewellery, the main boutique at the House of Jemme, is a jewel lover’s paradise and offers an eclectic collection of jewellery, from unique rings, bracelets and necklaces to men’s silver and accessories. Some among the classic and contemporary items are one-off creations with organic and nature-inspired designs.

Inside this low-key but hard-to-miss ‘house’ on Jalan Petitenget you will find cabinets and glass displays filled with gold and silver items that gleam with precious and semi-precious stones sourced from Indonesia and around the world.

  • Those who consider their trip incomplete if they do not take home a special sparkling little trinket will be pleasantly surprised after entering Jemme’s showroom. Inside, elegant spaces have Victorian-style fixtures and cabinets filled with Jemme’s frequently updated seasonal collections. Rest assured you’ll always find world-class quality in store. Jemme was a modest Bali-based venture of Luke Stockley, one of Europe's most acclaimed and respected jewellers, who combined his design flair with local craftsmanship to create a distinguished luxury brand.

Jemme’s three main collections comprise Diamond, Silver and Gold, with varieties of rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants and bracelets. The designs mix varieties of quartz and garnets, as well as diamonds, sapphires, rubies and many others. In one showcase, you may find a diamond and tourmaline-studded 18ct white gold ring alongside tear-shaped topaz and pale yellow citrine earrings, while framed displays on the walls highlight African ruby bands and aquamarine-set silver bracelets. You will also come across natural designs, such as a golden peapod locket with shiny pearls as its peas.

Searching for a special item here easily becomes an adventure, as each gem of different colour, character and size has a background of its own. The boutique staff members are familiar with the origin and creation of each piece and are ready to show you the different types and characters of gems in its collection. You can also find them patiently sorting stones or tweezing tiny silver links at the counter – an opportunity to observe a fine jewellery piece in the making.

Luckily, you might also run into the owner-designer, who shuttles between Bali and the UK, overseeing his thriving business here. Luke and his team are passionate in providing a personalised approach to find the right piece of adornment to complement a dress or an occasion, or to narrow down on a gift for someone special. Jemme also features a men's line, with rings and other accessories in bold designs, some combining black leather strands with silver for masculine form.

Next to House of Jemme are possibly the last patches of paddies on this high-end boutique-lined strip north of Seminyak. While admiring your dazzling purchases or contemplating on a gift-to-be, enjoy a delicious meal together with Cafe Jemme’s signature cocktails next door with these relaxing views.

House of Jemme is just across the road if you are staying at the Javana Royal Villas; taxis are easily found along Jalan Petitenget, and Jemme has ample parking space at the front.
