Jalan Pantai Mengiat is a shopping street in Nusa Dua. It's lined with a variety of art shops, small bars and restaurants. The street runs 1.5 kilometres south of Nusa Dua’s hub, parallel the Bali Collection shopping complex. It ends at Jalan Srikandi in the traditional village area of Bualu. On both sides of the road, you’ll see small, locally owned art shops. The street provides you with a local shopping alternative to the luxurious hotel boutiques in the area.
The art shops on Jalan Pantai Mengiat are quite like those in popular resort areas. Think Kuta, Legian and Ubud. They sell the comparable goods such as Balinese sarongs, T-shirts, woodcarvings and kites. Some are fixed-priced, while most welcome bargaining. However, being in the luxury resort enclave of Nusa Dua, you can expect starting prices to be a little higher than in Kuta or elsewhere. Comparing prices from door to door is the key to get the best deals.

Shopping on Jalan Pantai Mengiat
Padi Art Market is a good stopover for souvenirs. It's the first you'll come across if you start your walks along Jalan Pantai Mengiat from the Bali Collection. They sell all sorts of Bali spa products, batiks, jewellery and handicrafts. Then, the main length of the street where you’ll find the compact row of art shops is at its southern end. Restaurants preceding the shops include Tropical Seafood and Grill, Ulam and Laguna Garden. There's also Prada Restaurant and Nyoman’s Beergarden further down the road.
Shops include Ria Shop that sells batik and oil paintings. Then there's Adi Mart art market, and a few unnamed kiosks around Minceq Mini Market. Further west is Bintang Boutique. It showcases locally made resort wear and light, comfortable clothing for men and women. The rows of art shops extend all the way to the street shrine intersection of Jalan Terompong and Jalan Siligita. There’s money changers, spas, warung food stalls selling local cuisine, and tailors and kiosks selling tours in between.
