By following the beach path, you can easily reach the landmark twin islets by foot. Also down the bay are the main highlights of Nusa Dua, such as The Bay Bali dining and entertainment complex, the Bali Collection shopping centre, Pasifika Museum and Nusa Dua Theatre, which screens the Devdan Show nightly.
Cosy and modern, The Westin’s deluxe rooms, one-bedroom suites and family suites (measuring 38, 76 and 117sqm respectively) are fitted with contemporary décor with Balinese touches such as batik wall motifs, ornately carved wooden panels and natural tone drapery and parquet flooring. Rooms offer terraces with direct pool or garden access.
Your stay at The Westin is complemented by a signature sleeping experience with Westin’s third-generation Heavenly Beds. These beds feature down layers, duvet covers and choices of hypo-allergenic feather or foam pillows. For little guests, Heavenly Cribs come with fitted bottom sheets, white flounced dust ruffles and a 100% white cotton thermal blanket.
Kids of all ages will love The Westin Kids Club at the resort’s northeast section, as it comprises three designated areas for toddlers, kids and teens with exciting activities indoor and out. They are also offered special gifts upon check-in and their very own Westin drink bottle that can be filled with refreshing soft drinks for free. Also, every dining outlet offers a special mini menu they can choose from.
The Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) was the sole reason that made Nusa Dua the island’s main venue for international expos and events. It just happens to be adjacent The Westin. From major sporting and WTA tennis tournaments to food and travel exhibitions, Westin guests get first-hand and even behind-the-scenes opportunities.
Ways to relax and rejuvenate at the resort include The Westin’s award-winning Heavenly Spa, which comprises a steam room, Himalayan salt-sauna and a hydro pool. You can also get your much needed Balinese massage delivered as you lie down under an ocean-view gazebo at the beachfront. Again, there’s even a spa option for kids, too!
There’s seven restaurants and bars onsite serving eclectic choices of cuisine and settings, from romantic beachfront dinners at Ikan Restaurant & Bar, Spanish bites and cocktails at Velada, Japanese sushi and delights at Hamabe, and fun weekend family brunches at Prego Italian restaurant.
Take a dip in the resort’s relaxing freeform saltwater pool that is surrounded and dappled by lush flowering gardens. Another section nearby features a freshwater pool, complete with a 12m waterslide for kids where they can splash to their heart’s content. The pool also features a waterfall adjacent By The Water, the resort’s pool bar. Brunch guests at Prego are entitled to a more private premium wing pool.
‘WestinWORKOUT’, the resort’s 24-hour free-access fitness centre is fully equipped and lets you work out with soothing garden views, made possible by floor-to-ceiling glass windows. To experience the outdoors and enjoy the beautiful Nusa Dua surroundings, try the ‘RunWESTIN’ program with its custom pocket-sized running map for a 4 or 8-kilometre walk or jog.
