  • Byrdhouse Beach Club at the Segara Village Hotel

Beachfront Restaurant and Leisure Complex in Sanur

    0

Byrdhouse Beach Club at the Segara Village Hotel in Sanur is the only dining and leisure complex of its kind on the Segara Ayu beachfront area of Sanur, easily accessible to outside guests via Sanur’s beach footpath. The beach club comprises three different restaurants and two bars, while live bands and colourful cultural dance performances feature throughout the week to accompany your seaside seafood barbecue dinners. It’s a fun seaside vibe with varying dining options for families and beachgoers by day, with a chic and slightly sophisticated atmosphere as the sun goes down.

  • Le Pirate Kitchen is Byrdhouse Beach Club’s signature restaurant which offers an alfresco setup with tables laid out over a broad wooden deck and under coconut palms. Selections range from western favourites to twists on classic Indonesian favourites, such as nasi rendang (IDR 95,000 or USD 7.25), a rice dish with a take on the famous West Sumatran caramelized beef curry.

For Japanese cuisine, there’s Minami Kitchen, which offers house specials ranging from tempura and pork and beef cutlets (IDR 110,000-140,000 or USD 8-10), as well as cold noodles, sashimi and sushi, and teppanyaki selections, served with tamago fried rice and stir-fried vegetables.

At any time of the day, you can opt for the light and laidback beachfront ambiance of Amuse Gueule, a seaside café that offers gourmet coffee brews, together with wood-fired pizzas – a great pause in between laps at Segara Village Hotel’s 30-meter pool nearby. Equally, the Byrdhouse Beach Club’s Jacuzzi Bar is a chic way to enjoy cocktails – you can soak in an oversized Jacuzzi for to totally unwind.

For a memorable evening in Sanur, head down to Byrdhouse Beach Club for their seaside barbecue and buffets (from IDR 120,000 or USD 9 per person). Mondays feature Bali’s famous Legong dance performances, while Wednesdays highlight an acoustic trio, and Fridays feature a live Latin accompanying your seafood grills. Families with kids are welcome, with a dedicated backyard playground and kids’ corner close at hand.
