A 20-minute drive in the late afternoon will find you arriving
at Bale Kandara to enjoy the spectacular view over the cliffs
of Uluwatu and further out to the ocean's horizon. At the
Bale your private waiter awaits you with a selection of canapés
to enjoy with your chosen cocktail. As you relax in the Bale
the sun sets, turning your amazing vista into a truly unique
experience. When you feel the time has come to depart your
Bale paradise a candlelit pathway awaits you, leading down
to your car and driver for your return to Karma Jimbaran.

Dine poolside under the stars, in your own villa with personal
chef and waiters.
Banana trunk candles glow like golden stars in the garden
of your villa as flowers and candles float in the pool. A
private table is set by the pool as your own waiter and chef
prepare and serve a sumptuous seafood BBQ. Music floats on
the night breeze for this special evening of food and wine
under the Baliese sk. Dietary requests can be catered for
at any level.

Elephant Riding: Ride these majestic giants as
you meander through villages and the countryside. A two-hour drive
into the heart and mountains of Bali will find you at the Elephant
Park in Taro, a village of the Gianyar region. The one-hour ride
on an elephant will take you near the Melangit River and terraced
paddy fields with hills as the background. From atop your pachyderm
you can view the blue ocean stretching across to Nusa Penida Island
as a background. As the elephants move through Bakas Village, you
will be able to see village activities that at times can include
ceremonies, such traditional marriages or temple ceremonies.
Whitewater Rafting: Zoom by the immense natural
beauty of the Ayung River on these thrilling rapids. Raft the whitewaters
of the breathtakingly spectacular Ayung river in Gianyar - a 90-minute
drive from Karma Jimbaran. The eight-km river stretch takes almost
two hours to raft and takes in spectacular waterfalls, terraced
rice fields and local village people before you eventually halt
for lunch.
Learn how to Surf: Walk on waves! There is simply
no excuse for merely saying that you wish you could surf! Pro Surf
Bali provides a 2.5 hour surfing lesson in which safety, ocean and
wave positioning, paddling and catching waves are taught. You'll
never forget that big moment in first-time surfing… standing up
on the board for your first wave!
Bungy Jump: The ultimate adrenaline high! World-renowned
Bungy Company AJ Hackett operates its Bali Bungy jumping at Legian,
where alternative styles of jumping and water touching the five
meter pool below is encouraged under these internationally trained
operators. For the ultimate adrenaline rush 3, 2, 1 BUNGY!
Cruise to Lembongan Island: Sail, Snorkel and
Snack Cruise over the Lombok Straight to Lembongan island where
snorkeling is a must. Choose from a Commercial Vessel or soak up
the experience in your own private chartered boat.
Deep Sea Fishing (maximum 4 pax per boat) If you
catch it our chef will cook it! We can’t guarantee exactly where
you will be fishing as it is all about where the best catches of
Bali are lurking on the day you take to the seas. Enjoy this experience
in a private boat where all rods, lures and bait are supplied along
with lunch.
Horse Riding: Gallop the sands of Western Bali.
Choose a horse that best suits your riding experience for this journey
through the Canggu region before you reach the soft sands and ocean
waters of the west cost for a canter or for the more experienced,
a gallop. This three-hour horse ride is for the processional and
beginner alike.
Trekking: Choose the trek that best suits you.
Bali has many amazing treks, from river walks in Ubud to waterfalls
and lakes in Bedugul to the biggest of them all – Climbing Mount
Agung, the highest volcano in Bali. Please speak with our Guests
Assistants to discuss the type of trek that you would best prefer.
Swimming with dolphins: A lifelong memory. Lovina
is the small coastal town of North Bali and is a 2.5 hour drive
to reach from Karma Jimbaran. Enjoy the beautiful journey as you
cut over the mountains in the heart of Bali and through the volcanic
lake district of Bedugal before transcending the range to Singharaja
- the first capital city of Bali. Lovina is 10 minutes northwest
of Singharaja and it is here where four dolphins live in the care
of the Melka Excelsior Hotel. Each dolphin pool has two dolphins
and you can swim and touch the dolphins and understand first-hand
how intelligent and playful these beautiful ocean creatures are.

experience. Visit the traditional fish market of Bali based here
in Jimbaran Bay with our chefs who will guide you in selecting the
best fish and freshest of seafood. Return to Karma Jimbaran where
our chefs will teach you in the privacy of your villa how to make
many of the traditional Balinese dishes and sauces. Following the
cooking class our wait staff pampers you as you enjoy the fruits
of your labor with a stunning Balinese lunch.

helicopter as you take in the birds-eye view of the cliffs of Uluwatu,
