Where to Shop and What to Buy in Jimbaran Beach

Jimbaran offers fewer options than other tourist areas. You won’t find handicraft shops like the ones in Legian or giant department stores such as in Kuta because Jimbaran is set for seafood and water sport adventures. However, you can still find some qualified stores and antique outlets in this area. Most of these shops are export oriented and display fixed prices so this will free you from time-consuming bargaining.

Jenggala

Jenggala Keramik is probably the most distinguished pottery maker in Bali. The shop and workshop truly embody quality at its best. Jenggala was originally located in Sanur before relocating to Jimbaran.

Its owner, the New Zealand designer and potter Bret Hesselyn and Indonesian Wija Waworuntu began this pottery boutique in 1979 as a small industry in Batu Jimbar Sanur, and today the company produces high-quality pottery and glassware for the international market.

Konderatu

Konderatu is the whole of Indonesia under one roof. That is probably the first impression you’ll get when you first set foot in it. Located in The Bukit, Konderatu combines all of Indonesia’s finest products, from teak furniture, handmade batiks, Indonesian designer fashions and accessories to original Indonesian cuisine. With stunning interiors, a rare collection of art crafts and excellent food, Konderatu is an impressive place.

Surfer’s Paradise

This surf superstore is very noticeable with its motif of a Balinese winged angel riding a surfboard in front of the store. Located on Bypass Ngurah Rai Highway, Surfer’s Paradise main store is loaded with surf brands from market leaders like Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Billabong and Oakley to minor brands such as Cult, Aloha, and many others. This super-sized store also has a second branch just across the street which sells only discounted items. It’s a clearance sale in Paradise.
