Sanur hotels provide the Bali holiday experience on this island's favourite eastern strip. Right in the centre of Bali's major tourist areas, Sanur makes a good base for exploring the island, just 30 minutes' drive from Ubud and 25 minutes from the airport. 

Quiet and relatively laid-back, Sanur still has the feeling of old Bali. On clear days, you can see the island's highest peak of Mount Agung from this coast, as well as the Nusa Penida island in the eastern horizon.
