There’s something both mysterious and romantic about embarking on a road less travelled; a journey to the east coast of Bali will only confirm this. Bali’s eastern region offers an ideal escape for those in search of a 'hidden' paradise.
Get to know the island’s spiritual side at the Besakih Temple complex, the holiest of all temples set atop the sacred Mount Agung, and behold the intricate details of ancient stone sculptures at Kehen Temple, dating back to the 11th Century, then immerse yourself in the dramatic panoramas of surrounding terraced rice fields. The spellbinding beauty of Bali’s east coast will keep you wanting to come back for more.
