Denpasar is without a doubt the most complete location on the island when it comes to eating places; scores of restaurants offer a vast menu selection. The Jalan Teuku Umar and Renon Niti Mandala areas have the most varied eateries with oriental, western, Mediterranean, Arabic, or Indian food, and let’s not forget those special dishes from all over Indonesia.
Night market stalls provide local delicacies at very cheap prices, although some of them may have unhealthy food additives. Only a few restaurants stay open 24 hours a day, but roadside food tents after midnight are not hard to find.

One portion of babi guling contains a plate of rice, satay, pieces of fried offal and skin, slices of pork meat, vegetables and a bowl of pork leg soup.
