Batik is one of the world's heritage textile art forms, with roots that go deep into history, dating as far back as two thousand years. Where else better to learn the art form than right here on Bali? Several major batik producers, retailers and wholesalers also serve interesting batik courses for visitors that help them understand the art, techniques and production processes of batik. De Kubu Bowling & Billiard Centre

The easiest way to have a fun bowling experience in Denpasar is to go to De Kubu inside Mal Bali on Jalan Diponegoro. Its interior really looks quite exclusive. Here, you will be charged per game at very reasonable prices depending on the days of the week and the time of day; those of age six to 18 pay a much lower rate from Monday to Thursday during working hours. Wearing proper shoes is a must when bowling at one of its 10 alleys, but you can hire them for less than a dollar. De Kubu also has billiard tables and a café.

Jogging Track Kertalangu

Denpasar has many facilities to support this relaxing and healthy activity. Lapangan Renon is the most popular place to jog, although there is also Lapangan Puputan, as well as the vast rice fields with jogging tracks built throughout it at Desa Budaya Kertalanggu. Jog throught the expanse for a refreshing experience, supported by many complementing site facilities such as spas, restaurants and food stalls, fishing ponds and flying fox arena nearby.

Orchid Garden Tours

The outer perimeters of Denpasar features various lush floral gardens and stalls selling flora and tropical plants. One garden that is available for tours is the Bali Orchid Garden, located along the green belt bordering eastern Denpasar and Sanur.

The hectare of landscaped tropical gardens are available for tours to witness up close the abundance in orchid species and admire various exotic tropical plants such as the rafflesia, anthuriums, and heliconia. The gardens provide a relaxing environment open for individual visitors, tour groups and private functions. A must see for flower lovers!

Pond Fishing at Kertalangu

Desa Budaya Kertalangu serves as a vast recreational site. It combines many fun features and includes a large fishing pond filled with freshwater fish. The nine fishing ponds are set between a rice field where farmers tend to their seedlings and crops, and a small food stall where refreshments are also available.

Beside the stall are the main counter where fishing rods for rent, as well as pellet baits that are all custom made. You could also ask for assistance from the attendants whenever available. For each caught fish, a price per kilogram is applied, and the catch can be fixed up for a meal and served at the open-air dining pavilions nearby.

Wahana Bali Adrenaline

Wahana Bali Adrenaline houses motocross circuits, a flying fox area, a small football field, fishing ponds, and even ping-pong tables. There are also go-karts for children, ATVs, adult and mini dirt bikes, as well buggies. Every game is covered by insurance and prices are affordable. It also holds off-road motorbike racing lessons. Wahana Bali Adrenaline is truly a great addition to the exciting activities in Denpasar.
