MyWarung Canggu is a cosy coffee bar and casual dining spot on Canggu's Subak Sari street. Its name and dining style is inspired by the humble local Indonesian warung food stall. However, the setups and interiors are far from traditional. Besides the coffee and special local favourites, such as nasi goreng fried rice and mie goreng fried noodles, you can drop in to enjoy a wide range of healthy goodies and western-style homemade light bites. Dining at MyWarung Canggu

MyWarung Canggu is one of a collection of various MyWarung spots around the island, and there are even branches in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. The kitchen is helmed by a French-Canadian chef with experience from the 3-Michelin star Guy Savoy Paris under his belt. His menu offers a range of global flavours, with an emphasis on locally grown produce and top-quality meats. Among the local treats, a nasi goreng special costs IDR 70,000 (USD 5). For something western, try the K Burger, made with a succulent Australian beef patty and served with double-fried hand-cut potato chips and homemade tomato ketchup (IDR 95,000 or USD 6.65).

If you're a true meat lover, a MyWarung Canggu recommendation is the L'Entrecôte steak and fries (IDR 180,000). It's a 250-gram Australian ribeye steak served with their homemade béarnaise sauce and French mustard, accompanied by French fries and a walnut green salad. For a "happy ending", MyWarung offers great desserts in partnership with a quality artisan pastry and desserts maker. Selections include carrot cake, hummingbird cake and a chocolate and coconut vegan fudge cake, all at IDR 35,000 per portion. Must-try signature cocktails (IDR 125,000) include the MyWarung Spritz, a refreshing blend of Cynar Italian bitter, sparkling wine, soda and fresh lemon.
