Bali is located at the heart of the Indonesian archipelago. Its
north coast faces the Bali Sea while the southern coast is lapped
by the Indian Ocean. The island is just two kilometres off the eastern
tip of Java. Bali is one of the most accessible destinations in
Southeast Asia with daily flights from most major cities in Asia
and Australia. Travellers from the United States or Europe tend
to fly via Singapore or Hong Kong. There are also domestic flights
from the surrounding islands and ferry connections. Amanusa is a
15-minute drive from the airport, Amandari 45 minutes, and Amankila
one hour by complimentary transfer.
