Spa Alila believes in all things natural, whether it be the spa ingredients that we source locally, or international brands that complement our treatment range.

Our carrier massage oils are a pure blend of sweet almond and virgin coconut oils, rich in healing, nutritive and aromatherapeutic qualities.

Virgin coconut oil is a truly unrefined oil which we source from local villages in East Bali, where fresh coconut is shredded then cold-pressed to make coconut milk, fermented then separated and filtered. Virgin coconut oil has a much longer shelf life than most other carrier oils due to its natural anti-oxidant properties and is best applied directly to the skin for moisturising and conditioning.

Sweet almond oil is an excellent scent-free carrier oil for aromatherapy essential oils and is also remedial in the treatment of itching, inflammation and dryness. Rich in minerals and anti-oxidants, with proteins and vitamins D and E, sweet almond oil is often referred to in naturopathy as the queen of all carrier oils.

Mother-to-be and nut-free oils are also available by Spa Alila.

Spa Alila products are made from a creative blend of ingredients such as indigenous plants, fruits, herbs and spices. Our blends feature combinations that are fragrant and so fresh they are almost edible – cucumber and aloe vera to soothe, lemongrass and ginger to refresh, coffee and coconut to tone and condition. Revitalise your skin’s appearance with our green tea and seaweed facial scrub or hydrate fine lines with a pure C facial serum.

Our products include massage oils, body scrubs, facial scrubs and cleansers, bath salts, body milk, body spritz, lip balm as well as scented candles and natural insect repellent. Everything is available for you to recreate your unique Spa Alila experience at home.

MASSAGE

• Balinese massage 1 hour
  This ancient balinese healing therapy combines gentle stretching, long therapeutic strokes and skin rolling. palm and thumb pressure techniques are applied to alleviate the deepest stress and tension and improve.
• Alila recovery signature massage 1.5 hours
  Experience a complete body re-awakening as a combination of Balinese long soothing strokes, thai stretching and Swedish deep tissue massage techniques stimulate relaxation and recovery. Acupressure for circulation and traditional heartfelt nurturing is what makes this treatment so indulgent and beneficial to your wellness.
• Reflexology 1 hour
  Reflexology is based on the principle that natural energy flows freely around the body when in good health. Our therapists gently apply pressure to specific points around the feet and hands to release blocked energy due to poor diet, lack of exercise, stress and tension, promoting wellness from within.
• Indian head massage 1 hour
  The head is the crown of the body; the epicentre of all thought, action and life. Firm stimulation of specific pressure points on the head, neck and shoulders, and gently on the face, reduces the deepest stress, boosting circulation and lymphatic draining. Indian head massage has always played a pivotal role in indian life and was featured in early Ayurvedic texts that date back nearly 4,000 years.
• Warm stone massage 1 hour
  The therapeutic power of touch combines with the energy of the earth in this muscle relaxing massage. Smooth pre-warmed stones glide across your body in long flowing strokes allowing the heat to relax muscles and induce a soothing effect on your emotions. Simultaneously, stones are placed on various energy points to encourage the body’s healing potential.

BODY

• Decléor relax with frankincense resin 2 hours
  A great benefit for those who experience disturbed sleep patterns or consistently feel tired, dull or devitalised. Rediscover harmony and well-being as energy flows are balanced, tensions eased, and your skin regains its soft, fine quality.
• Decléor detox with basil and rose geranium 2 hours
  This detoxifying massage is purposely designed to drain away toxins and eliminate water retention resulting in a refined skin texture. Exfoliation and massage disperses energy sapping toxins, while a marine algae mask rich in minerals attacks fatty deposits.
• Shirodara 1 hours
  Experience perfect calmness and tranquility as a stream of specially blended, warmed, medicated oils pour softly onto the third eye transporting your mind and body into a state of deep relaxation. Beginning with an Ayurvedic pressure massage to melt away tension, Shirodara relaxes the nervous system, lowers metabolism, integrates brain function and induces mood stability – a centuries-old anti-ageing treatment.
• Skinny moccocino 2 hours
  Awaken your senses and tone your body with this rich coffee and coconut toning treatment. Locally grown coffee grounds are a gentle, natural exfoliate used to remove dead skin cells. The caffeine in the coffee gives the skin a toned appearance while the coconut meat helps to deeply condition your skin.
  This divine treatment begins with a mineral-drenched aromatherapy footbath followed by a full body exfoliate. A 50-minute Balinese massage is blissfully delivered then a full body firming mask of volcanic clay, coconut meat and coffee is applied and left to work while acupressure massage is gently applied to your feet. Milk from a fresh young coconut is then poured over your body and massaged in for skin re-hydration and finished off with a light coating of toffee body butter. Delicious!
• Seaweed farm body wrap 2 hours
  This heavenly body wrap contains locally grown seaweed and kelp, rich in minerals, proteins and vitamins that are beneficial in cleansing and detoxifying one’s body. This treatment is designed to nourish the skin with nutrients that are essential for restoring the skin’s elasticity and vitality.
  The treatment begins with a mineral-drenched aromatherapy footbath followed by a full body exfoliate of sugar and sweet almond oil that also moisturises the skin. a 50-minute balinese massage completely relaxes you before a full body hydrating mask of volcanic clay, seaweed and kelp is applied. The milk from a fresh young coconut is then poured over your body and massaged in for skin rehydration and finished off with a light coating of green tea body milk.

FACE

• Rejuvenation facial 1 hour
  Spa alila combines traditional and new age beauty recipes with handmade, fresh, all-natural ingredients to rejuvenate, renew and make your complexion positively glow.
  Let us delicately cleanse your face with a cucumber and aloe blend, exfoliate with ground green tea, gently massage with sweet almond and rose hip oil, and nourish with a mask of volcanic clay blended with your choice of green tea extracts or marine botanicals. hydrate with fresh banana and organic wild honey followed by a touch of Vitamin C serum to stimulate cell renewal.
  Treatment begins with a relaxing 15-minute back massage.

  Please kindly arrive at least 15 minutes before your treatment is scheduled. A late arrival means less spa time.
• Cancellation
  Reservations cancelled within eight hours will be subject to a charge of 50% of the listed price. Treatment times may be changed subject to the approval of our spa concierge.
• Spa attire
  Please wear comfortable attire. Robes and disposable underwear will be provided. You may choose to be naked, wear your own underwear or swimwear for your spa treatment.
• Gentlemen
  Gentlemen, if you have chosen a facial, please shave before the treatment. although not essential, it is definitely beneficial.
• Mothers-to-be
  We have our very own blend of “mother-to-be” massage oil and modified therapeutic treatments just for expecting mums.
• Allergies
